7-4 Development of Ball Trajectory Visualization System Using Object Extraction

Abstract

Using objects extraction and tracking technologies, we have a developed vision-based ball trajectory visualization system. We call the system 'B-Motion (Ball: Moving Object Trajectory from Image-based Observation and Numerics)". The system can render real-time CG of ball traces. We have applied the system on live baseball broadcast programs and softball ones.
