8-2 PDH法を用いた極角アンカリング強度の測定精度の評価(第8部門 情報ディスプレイ3)

抄録

The surface polar anchoring strength is the crucial element which governs the response property of VA-mode LCD. We devised a new measurement method: the Psi Delta RAN cell (PDH) method, for the surface polar anchoring strength using a hybrid alignment nematic liquid crystal (HAN) cell. The polar anchoring strengths measured by the PDH method are constant to the cell gap, therefore, we conformed the validity of this method.
