CS Digital Tuner built-in D-VHS VTR has been developed as the first D-VHS VTR in Japan. This VTR is based on the D-VHS standard and records digital bit-stream data broadcasted digitally. For this VTR, we have developed the one-chip digital signal processing LSI, the interface LSI and the digital/analog compatible head. Then, improved operation by using the EPG service of the CS digital broadcasting.
