Abstract
In the conventional Video On Demand(VOD)system for medical service, two or more streams are generated and stored from one video source for every resolution(HDTV, SDTV, SIF, etc.)to need. For this reason, storing efficiency is bad in such system. First, we decided to avoid duplication of video data by using an MPEG-2 spatial scalable coding system in this research. Furthermore, when storing the generated stream to a server. We stored separately these streams for every resolution in these servers. By this composition, it is enabled to improve the storing efficiency and to distributed the load of a server system.
