Abstract
This paper is concerned with an application of ray tracing method (RTM) to electro-magnetic wave propagation in urban areas suchi as underground or bottom of high-rise building in Tenjin district, one of the central parts of Fukuoka. In this paper we include the effect of diffraction by considering only the pricipalpart of diffraction, neglecting higher order of multiple diffractions. Numerical examples are shown for rays, including diffraction rays, and field distributions.
