Aerial display with aerial imaging technique and aerial heating technique that gives temperature sensation

Abstract

We have developed aerial display with thermal sensation. Our developed display forms aerial visual images over a table top with aerial imaging by retro-reflection (AIRR) and locally heats the air by use of double-layered arrays of rectangular mirror (WARM). We have succeeded in forming an aerial image that gives warmth when it is touched. We have downsized our AIRR-WARM display.
