抄録

This paper proposes a flexible block-based intra prediction method for image coding . In this method, prediction coefficients for reference pels surrounding the current block are calculated pel-by-pel based on the mean value coordinates. In combination with geometric transformations, it enables various types of inter and extra polative prediction.
