The purpose of this study was to investigate how interpreters and those who need interpretation services try to orient and achieve interpreting conditions during human support scenes. For this purpose, interpreters’ deviating acts were analyzed through conversational and interactional analysis methods based on social science ethno methodology. The findings showed that interpreters communicate the support from health nurses smoothly based on the order of institutional talk(efficiently conversing and trying to achieve institutional assignment), and their deviating acts occur when they try to implement interactions suitable to the conditions to achieve human support. However, it was also revealed that interpreters show resistance by not interpreting scenes when their impartiality is threatened by explanations given by the health nurses for whom they are interpreting.
