Like Japan, the attention devoted to business ethics in Taiwan has been rapidly increasing. More and more Taiwanese companies start to develop specific business ethics framework to strengthen their social and economic performance. As business ethics implications are being regarded as managerial tools required for creating and sustaining corporate values, Taiwanese leading companies are developing solid ethics practices in order to appeal to their stakeholders. In this paper, I would like to explore the framework and practices of business ethics in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, one of Taiwan's representative companies. I would like to analyze how TSMC integrates organizational and individual ethics in their core value and conclude TSMC has benefited in their business activities by strongly sticking to their corporate core ethical values.
