Abstract

In this article, education of dynamical systems and control engineering using MaTX and ODE (Open Dynamics Engine) for undergraduate students of department of Mechanical Systems Engineering, Tokyo City University is reported. ODE is used to experience programming and simulation of dynamical systems and also to learn basic feedback control. MaTX is used to learn various responses of linear system and study the synthesis of feedback controller based on modern control theory. Several practical cases and programs to develop self-education of students are presented.
