Abstract
A fuzzy modeling technique by Takagi-Sugeno model is applied to two objectives: one is to estimate equivalent muscular force signals related to pen-tip movements on handwriting process using measured pen-tip displacement signals, and the other is to identify equivalent mechanical systems for the pen-tip movements using the data set of measured pen-tip displacement signals and estimated equivalent muscular force ones. The results of analysis using displacement signals of hiragana "Ru" by a subject have been discussed. In reproducing process of equivalent muscular force signals, estimation precision of X-direction is very good but that of Y-direction is not good.
