Design of output feedback stabilizing controllers is considered for nonlinear sampled-data strictfeedback systems with control input update delay. By introducing the Euler model to compensate the influence of control input update delay, design of state feedback stabilizing controllers is discussed and then design of reduced-order observers is given. Finally reduced-order observer-based output feedback stabilizing controllers are proposed by combining the designed state feedback controllers and reduced-order observers.
