Therefore, the Japanese government focuses on Japanese popular culture with its background of worldwide popularity. In this paper, the government's role in the commercial distribution of popular culture is examined by observing the questionnaire of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This paper asserts that the role of the government is to revise unbalanced cultural content, to inform Japanese culture as it's background and to supply Japanese popular culture to developing countries.
