The purpose of this report is to examine university professional development and higher education graduate programs from the perspective of graduates. To do so, I compiled and reported three pieces of information related to graduates of the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Education University Management and Policy Study Course, including a survey of graduates.
It is important to deepen the understanding of the characteristics of universities and policies in these programs. I also found some common learning outcomes among the existing programs and pointed out issues that should be considered in future educational programs, such as the positioning of the masterʼs thesis and the balance between theory and practice.
