Nurses occupy major role to take care of patients. The principal leaders in the nursing department require the induction of potential abilities of their staff. Focusing this issue, workshop styled training was performed three separate times. The theme was 1) to find out the problems to explore young staffs’ potential abilities, 2) 2-dimensional development of the grouped problems, and 3) to reach their solutions. During these workshops, major skill of coaching was explained, demonstrated and exercised, and the participants acquired the major skill of coaching. The awareness of the participants was surveyed with the same questionnaire before and after workshop training and the changes were evaluated. More than two thirds issues in the questionnaire were moved to getting worse or lower. These transitions may be induced by the workshop itself in the participants mind as well as their objective situations.
