Abstract

The Baldrige National Quality Award, which recognizes organizations that demonstrate management excellence, uses the same criteria for the business sector and nonprofit organizations, but includes annotations that can be read and used interchangeably. This paper analyzes the commentaries and extracts hints about the characteristics of organizations that perform excellent management in non-profit organizations.
