Abstract
The purpose of the research is to verify the influence of various factors in career formation to school manager on the basis of interview survey to vice principal. And I propose a clue for solving the problem surrounding the school organization in Japan. In the research, first, I overview the previous study about the trend of career development related to managerial positions of teachers and other positions. Through these interviews and question surveys, knowledge on career formation toward managerial positions is shown. However, there is no demonstration of how the vice principal's career formation factors affect and so on. Therefore, I will verify the influence of carrier formation factors by analysis of the interview data relied on the Modified Grounded Theory Approach. The contents of the semi-structured interview are two points: the quantum leap experience of choosing a career as a vice-principal, and the influence on the current job due to the experience. As a result of the survey, Through the quantum leap experience, the vice principal recognizes the commitment and acquires career anchor.
