Abstract

The Visual Symbol of Educational TV programs could be interpreted the various meanings. This paper pointed out that semiotic access is required for the utilization of educational materials corresponding to technical innovation such as the latest digitization. The semiotic content of visual information analysis which reflects the soul of Journalist Spirits needs to be used the diversity of educational purposes titled "Rashomon access". "Rashomon" is the name of Kurosawa' s movie and its mystic psychological conflicts. The characteristic of television teaching materials is the information presentation in the sense of qualitative for journalistic view points and new data which are produced by broadcasting reporters in worldwide scale. In the Japan Prize Contest many educational staffs and broadcasters from Asian and Western countries insisted that the good television programs have something new information for future education. The serious problem is that the broadcasting education in Japan could not develop without the media literacy for all. The educational TV networks in Asian countries between production side and teaching side is the new task with challenge. Further more the educational networks which provides each class rooms will be cooperated with not only viewing the television programs but also searching the web side by mutual communication in digital television.
