In the present situation of rapid improvement in information technology and globalization, the contradiction between limited energy reserves and unlimited energy demands has become a difficult problem preventing social progress and development. The universities with higher level of independent research capacity thus play roles of breakthrough to alleviate pressure on the energy consumption and act as science and technology demonstration bases of relevant industries. Energy consumption monitoring system has been gradually popularized and applied in colleges and universities; however the statistical data analysis and feedback processing parts are in the infancy. This study based on the monitoring data on two adjacent buildings in one university in the north, speculated the causes by the existing building power consumption situations, conducted renovation design in the concept phase with the former feedback, finally analyzed simulation statistics data of Design Builder software and present situation comparatively, and summarized the advantages and disadvantages properties
