With the rapid development of economy and the transformation of urban industrial modes, many traditional industries are confronted with the prospect of recession and declination, which leads to the idleness of many old industrial buildings in cities. Demolishing old buildings and constructing new ones in a large-scale gradually rejected, the reuse of old industrial buildings has become an important topic of the recent sustainable development in Chinese cities. However, with the problem of increasingly hostile environment and the lack of resource and energy, traditional ways of transforming image function cannot satisfy the requirement of reality and green reformation of old industrial buildings is an inevitable trend. Therefore, in this essay, aiming at old industrial buildings, green energy saving technology is applied to the reconstruction of old industrial buildings and four strategies of improvement have been put forward, that is envelope and architectural space reconstruction, use of renewable resources, choice and use of materials Hopefully, it can provide new ideas for the reconstruction of our old industrial buildings and give theoretical reference to the practice of green reconstruction.
