Study on the Physical Environment Comfort of the Library Atrium Based on Ecotect: Take the Atrium of Fuzhou University for Example

Library's atrium space often uses the large area glass curtain wall to achieve the space effect. At the same time, it is easy to produce greenhouse effect, glare and other issues. In the design phase, how to find out the optimal plan is often difficult. Taking the library of Fuzhou University as an example, this paper makes use of Ecotect software to simulate and study, quantitatively analyze the situation of the court lighting, thermal radiation and so on. According to the data analysis, part of the atrium due to a large area of the glass ceiling to produce the greenhouse effect, in some areas because of uneven lighting design, the need to strengthen the lighting. According to the data, design a new scheme: increase the shading component in the greenhouse area in the glass ceiling, inadequate lighting area additional lighting wells. The area of the shading component and the light well is determined by the Ecotect simulation.
