Facial prostheses play a vital role in restoring facial defects caused by congenital or acquired conditions, significantly impacting patients’ quality of life (QOL). This review emphasizes a patient-centered fabrication approach considering individual lifestyles and daily habits. Beyond morphological restoration, it incorporates appearance care, including psychological support and social reintegration. We present the case of a 52-year-old female patient with bilateral orbital defects due to enucleation; the right eye had been enucleated in childhood and the left eye in 2020. The fabrication process was customized to her environment and needs. Improvements in QOL, self-esteem, and social participation are discussed. Challenges such as material durability, color stability, and long-term maintenance are also addressed. Importantly, multidisciplinary collaboration among clinicians, technicians, and psychological support providers is highlighted. Advances in material science and fabrication techniques continue to improve prosthesis quality and patient outcomes. Integrating appearance care into treatment plans is essential for patient-centered care and successful social reintegration.
