Our aim of information processing at Chiba Junior College and Chiba University of Commerce is to promote students who have ability to deal with the informationalized society. The computer network is not only the set of tools but also the part of the information environment, so it is not enough to educate computer literacy or programming languages.
The authors say that it is necessary to teach both of the software development theory and the practical exercise of programming. So, we will introduce the software development theory and practical development, which was executed in the information processing lessons of Chiba Junior College. Especially, we use the Spiral Model as the theory of the software development theory, it is one of the theories which reuse software processes.
We think the software is a part of our environment, conversely, if we can make effort to the environment, the software cost will go down.
In this paper, we are going to discuss about the application of spiral model toward information processing lessons and its efficiency.
