草加市における地区まちづくり推進事業の成果と課題

～総合的な地区まちづくりを支援する制度の在り方の検討～

This paper explores how administrations should establish support systems for resident initiative community planning. It examines community planning promotion projects based on the Fundamental Ordinance of Autonomy in Soka City, Saitama Prefecture, as a research case. While traditional community planning is initiated by local planning government, this case's community planning is initiated by residents. We analyzed this case from three perspectives. First, how did the community form the organization and achieve regeneration? Second, how did the organization formulate a plan? Third, how was the plan delivered? Finally, we discuss administrative support systems which enable the development of sustainable resident initiative community planning.
