地域循環型社会の実現に向けた諸課題と展望

―関係人口の創出、文化・自然等の地域資源の活用に関する実証研究を通じた考察―

The Research Institute of Regional Circulating Future is working toward the realization of sustainable local communities by focusing on “creating new value based on people and ICT.” Specifically, alongside government-led regional revitalization, we are working to build a new model in which local communities take the initiative in creating value. We focus on the unique attractions of each region (such as culture, food, nature, and history), and through the power of people and ICT, enhance these to create a circular flow of social and economic value. Various research studies and investigations are being conducted in different regions to achieve this.

The key to future regional revitalization lies in forming a broad network of players̶including individuals, businesses, and organizations̶who are actively engaged in the region, regardless of whether they reside there. By creating a vibrant lifestyle through this involvement, the Institute believes that regional revitalization can be achieved through collective efforts.
