The household and business sectors account for more than 30％ of Japan’s carbon dioxide emissions, and the rate of increase after 1990 has been great. As we aim for carbon-neutral in 2050, it is very important to improve the energy efficiency of the building at the construction stage because once it is built, it will continue to be used for a long period of time. The spread of ZEH and ZEB is an urgent issue for construction-related companies. In this paper, I would like to describe about the issues and solutions for the spread of ZEH and ZEB from the perspective of business engaged worker’s viewpoints who have been working on to spread ZEH and ZEB, and also the prospects for “2050 carbon neutral”.
