Abstract
As a type of the software adoption in a company,the software service, ASP ,has appeared and has an increasing attention from companies. It is supposed to play a role in the rationalization of functions not only in big companies but also in SMEs. They are interested in ASP because it is thought that they can have the reduction of cost incurred in self-development and concentrate on the core function with the use of best practices embodied in the ASP. If a viewpoint is changed, However, the contractor dependence that SMEs have will surface as a problem because of the difficulties for SEMs to choose one from many vendors and the opportunistic behaviors of the vendors.
