Abstract
We report the operation improvement using rebuilding of the information system (IS) about the case of a sheet metal factory. Up to this time, at that factory, it was introduced IS each department such as order, design, manufacture, etc. and kept up with the delivery date requirement of custom. But the latest, it could not follow to a short delivery date requirement, because delay of information flows at design and manufacture department became bottleneck. From that background, that factory rebuilt the isolated IS at each department, on purpose to reduce occurring idle time in the factory. In particular, the factory tried to integrate one network from each LAN which constructed different operating system (OS) such as office computer system, MS-Windows system and UNIX system.
