Abstract
Recently Japanese traditional craftspersons have more opportunities to collaborate with foreign craftspersons and large companies that are mass producers. Nevertheless there are difficulties that lead a failing business. These factors are caused from differences of sales mannner, for example, differences of their interpretations of contracts and intellectual property of design rights. In this research, we analysethe case of "Collaboration for developing Kyo-Mono brands", that consists of traditional claftspersons in Kyoto and industrial designers, with Soft System Method and propose two tools.
