Abstract
Impacts(risk) on business continuity in how businesses manage IS(Information System) organization have been discussed, focusing on natural disasters and security issues. I would like to propose a new comprehensive model for IS organization management, covering as far as operational risks such as the lowering of the service level of IS organization to the enterprise. First, I would like to select the 4 most important functions of IS organization and define impediments to the functions as IS risks. Then, I present a simple and coherent management model within the framework. Based on my experiences in manufacturing, information and trading industries, the proposal provides practical management methods. The proposal would benefit managers of IS organization as a operational guideline.
