Abstract
This paper describes the information systems history in Nippon Steel Corporation, and then states about world wide first online realtime system (AOL System: All On Line System) in the steel industry, that was realized in Kimitsu Works in Nippon Steel corporation, and finally presents contributions to management, human and organizations, experiences and teachings from AOL system.
