A study on "Ins and Outs" viewpoint in the City-planning Approach for Enterprise Information Systems Architecture

Abstract

The Ins and Outs viewpoint in the city-planning approach for Enterprise Infoamation Systems(EIS) Architecture specifies the relationshio over boundary between the systems inside and outside (environment). Viewing the environment from inside of the systems, we recognize that the environment has the sturucture and types, and each gives different influences to the systems. In this report, we try to express how the environment affects information systems governance and management in EIS from the viewpoint of Ins and Outs. This idea can be arrangement and criteria to consider when the enterprise introduces outsourcing services and/or software package solutions.
