Abstract
It has been over half a century since Japanese Government started to purchase computer systems. Even now, we are struggling for the IT staff development and the utilization of external experts, since IT purchase is still regarded as something unknown and our knowledge accumulation of IT control management is insufficient.
Though we deeply realize the needs to improve IT human resource management which deals with the recruitment, development, setting career path of the staffs and the outsource utilization, we haven't found the way.
In this presentation, I shall propose one methodology of developing wisdom and ability of staff for IT management by introducing our practices under the existing personnel system in the Government.
