Abstract
POS data are widely used in the research of marketing, however, they just reveal the final choice of customers in purchasing behavior. In order to understand the preferences of customers and the competing products in purchasing behavior, it is important to observe the process how the customers choose the products. It aims at clarifying the products feature explaining hesitation time in this research. To "Product Contact Data" which a customer's products contact process in a shop front can grasp, it focuses on a shelf rate, a brand, a function, and a price, and is conducting multiple linear regression analysis. As a result, the feature of products which can explain the change in the time of a customer's hesitation was found.
