Abstract
Studies of “Strategy as Practice" include what strategies are (the
‘content school') and how strategies are realized (the ‘process school'),
and, from the viewpoint of “practice", are concerned with what people do in
relation to strategy and how this is influenced by and is an influence on
their organizational and institutional context. These studies are mainly
analyzed from an organizational discourse perspective.
In studies of “Strategy as Practice", qualitative research methods based
on interview participant observation are used. Although the details of the
research design are various, there are some studies that focus on discourse.
Conversation analysis makes it possible to reveal the realities and dynamics
of strategizing.
