Clarification of management information for local government through the deliberations of the local assembly

A case study on the introduction of local government asset management at Omura City Assembly in Nagasaki Prefecture

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role that plays in the local council on the clarification of management information to local governments.
It is considered a variety of information to be included in management information to local governments. In this study it regards information that will be revealed by introducing asset management as one of the important local government management information. Then it focuses on the introduction of local government asset management at Omura City in Nagasaki Prefecture.
Upon introduction of this asset management, the deliberations of Omura City Assembly have played an important role. Therefore, it follows the deliberations of the Omura City Assembly to analyze how management information in local governments has been clarified.
