Abstract

Japanese companies are increasingly focusing on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as their workforces become more diverse. interest in LGBTQ+ is significant, and in 2016 the voluntary organization work with Pride created the PRIDE Index to evaluate companies' LGBTQ+ efforts. However, it is not clear whether evaluation by this index is effective for management strategies. Based on previous research, it is necessary to focus on the creativity of individual employees to show its effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect and mechanism of company compliance with the PRIDE Index on the creativity of each employee. This study suggests that all DEI measures stimulate individual creativity.
