JBSE has been included in the ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index, part of the Web of Science Core Collection). It is highly likely that an Impact Factor will be assigned in the Journal Citation Reports 2025, to be published in 2026.

The 13th Asian-Pacific Conference on Biomechanics (AP Biomech 2025) will
be held from November 18th to 21st, 2025, in Auckland, New Zealand,
hosted by University of Auckland. To commemorate this exciting
conference as well as to enhance researches in the field of
biomechanics, a special issue of the JBSE, namely, "Special Issue on
Recent Advances and Future Directions in Biomechanics" will be
issued. The special issue invites papers from a wide range of topics in
biomechanical engineering and related scientific fields. All submitted
papers will be subjected to the same peer-review process as those
accepted for publication in the regular issues.

be the editor of JBSE, notify the acceptance of the submitted paper,
