Abstract

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Society of Computer Chemistry, Japan and the 20th anniversary of the first issue of the Journal of Computer Chemistry, Japan, I reflect on what we have inherited from our founders and what we have changed to meet the new trends of the era, describe my personal views on the current status and future.
