Abstract

Norio Senda, the original creator of Winmostar, a molecular modeling and visualization software program used by many people in Japan and abroad, passed away in 2021. He was a self-taught programmer, and his releasing of Winmostar to the public was an extremely significant achievement. He also exhibited at public events held in various parts of Japan, and we would like to introduce some of the ways in which he continued to promote the appeal of molecules in various of fields.
