A selective wireless power transfer system using magnetic resonant coupling is proposed. The magnetic resonant coupling effectively provides a wireless power transfer in a middle range. However, the transfer efficiency may degrade with unintentional objects near the power transfer system. At that time, by changing the resonant frequency of the transmitting and receiving resonators, undesired effects from the interfering resonator can be avoided. In this paper, the basic characteristics of the proposed wireless power transfer system are experimentally evaluation.
