A sea wave height 3D image measurement system is being developed. A dual-camera rotation cooperative control method is proposed for this system. This method uses a main-slave cooperative mechanism. Close-loop structure is adopted in this method, the rotation angle and wave position in image is used as feedback quantity. Control process is divided into two steps. First step uses angle feedback to realize low precision control. Second step uses image feedback to realize pixel-level fine control. The pixel position difference of one wave in pairs of images is transformed to rotation angle value according to the model of camera’s system.
