In this paper, a positive feedback Push-Push oscillator using an injection locking technique is proposed to improve the phase noise. The positive feedback Push-Push oscillator effectively uses a combination of microstrip line and slot line to form two feedback loops and output port for the second harmonic signal. An external signal is divided and injected to the two feedback loops with 180°phase difference. Phase noise better than -116 dBc/Hz at the 1-MHz offset frequency is obtained and phase noise improvement is experimentally confirmed.
