Modeling Dynamic Font-based Characters with Hairy-Brush Ink Using Pix2Pix

In this study, we consider a problem of modeling hairy-brush characters based on the dynamic font method, in which the characters are constituted as a result of trajectory curves using normalized uniform B-splines. First, typeface of pre-designed dynamic font-based characters are transforming to hairy-brush ones by introducing Pix2Pix. We next develop a method of modeling hairy-brush ink information along the trajectory of pre-designed characters. Then, the character model with hairy-brush ink are obtained by merging the models of pre-designed characters and hairy-brush ink. The model examples are included.
