In recent year, power regeneration technology attracts attention. Power regeneration needs a storage device that can instantly recover energy and use energy. The storage device is called a supercapacitor. Supercapacitor’s electrode is used activated carbon. In this study, supercapacitor electrodes were synthesized from crab shells in microwave oven. If crab shells can be used effectively, we can achieve the waste reduction. The aim of this research was to investigate the performance of a supercapacitor when the crab shell materials are carbonized and activated with microwaves. And crab shell use effectively.
