In recent years, researches using millimeter-wave radar in the 79 GHz band have been attracted. The main feature of them is the estimation of velocity and position of the target using wide-bandwidth and MIMO technology. However, imaging using this millimeter-wave radar is also possible by using synthetic aperture processing. The authors have been studying indoor imaging with 24 GHz radar. In this research, we attempted indoor imaging using a 79 GHz radar. In this presentation, we will show those results.
