In this study, a new Push-Push oscillator is proposed to reduce the phase noise of the oscillator. The proposed Push-Push oscillator is composed of four sub-oscillators and a ring resonator whose length is one wavelength at the fundamental frequency. The proposed oscillator is expected to have low phase noise by increasing its output power using additional sub-oscillators. Improvement of the phase noise performance is experimentally confirmed using a prototype oscillator.The output power increased by about 7 dB and the phase noise (1-MHz offset frequency) was reduced by about 5 dB.
