Recently, paper-based Lab-on-a-Chip devices have been attracting attention for their low cost and simple analysis. However, it is challenging to incorporate refractive index structures such as microdisk in paper substrate due to surface scattering, and light detection is limited to use surface reflection. On the other hand, we have previously proposed and demonstrated a direct printing method of a new optical structure utilizing the permeation of dielectric material into a high transparent nanoporous SiO2 film. In this study, fabricating microdisk structures by direct printing was newly tried.
