This paper discusses sensitivity of rotational awareness of humans in a VR. When multiple VR users share the real space, they might collide. The authors take an approach of a rotation-based redirected walking which gives users a rotation to the VR coordinates. In the approach, the same rotation is given to them in a collision course without aware of it. A pilot experiment on the threshold that they would not sense under 6 speeds and 3 ac-/decelerations of rotation. The result shows that at rotation speed below 0.8 deg/s, users spend more time making decisions, and sometimes cannot sense it.
