Detection properties of communication waves from mobile phones at a university test room for prevention of illegal usage

The illegal usage detection of mobile phones in the forbidden area, such as a test room in the university, is important to maintain a proper environment. Our group has evaluated the people flow in the public area using the emission intensity of mobile phones by real-time spectrum analyzers with broadband antennas. Applying this technique, communication wave analysis was performed on the sharing frequency bands of mobile phone companies in the test room. The result shows that drastic change in intensity usage before and during tests. This result suggests we can find illegal use during tests.
